Shawn Thompson is a writer, filmmaker, and storyteller creating original work for film, television, and publishing. His stories blend cinematic momentum with emotional depth—entertaining on the surface, resonant underneath.

Working across genres, Shawn is drawn to characters at turning points: people chasing redemption, love, truth, or a second chance. His work often explores time, memory, identity, and the fragile choices that can alter our lives.

His current slate includes Two Eyes Calder, a darkly comic western starring Patrick Warburton, with filming set to begin in June 2026; Silvercup, a psychological time-travel thriller developed as both a novel and series; Firefly, a lovers-on-the-run road story written for page and screen; and Unwrapped, a sharp-edged holiday tale.

In addition to narrative projects, Shawn develops and produces documentaries focused on culture, resilience, and global perspective, including work with Indigenous communities in Colombia and documentary series filmed across the Middle East.
